THE BASIC CONCEPTS OF COMPETITION THEORY THROUGH THE PRISM OF A METATHEORETICAL SPHERE APPROACH
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article provides a comprehensive evolutionary analysis of competition theories using a metatheoretical sphere approach. The chosen approach allows us to systematize the evolution of competitive theories, highlighting the key stages of their development and the contribution of the most important scientists to the formation and understanding of this economic category. Attention is focused on the interaction of various fields of knowledge that intersect at certain points, creating new planes for interpretation. This approach not only contributes to a more complete understanding of competition, but also ensures the integrity and consistency of perception. The research begins with a consideration of the historical roots of the category, then proceeds to the analysis of modern theories, emphasizing their interrelation and mutual influence. Special attention is paid to how different theoretical approaches affect the understanding of competitive processes in the economy, as well as how changes in economic theory affect the practical application of competitive strategies in business. The article explores the dynamics of competition in the context of globalization and digitalization, testifying that modern technologies (the creation of artificial intelligence) and the global economy impose new requirements on the theoretical understanding of competition. The result of the work is a graphic representation of the spherical space of the evolution of the theory of competition in its complex chronology on the basis of a critical analysis of the key positioning of figures, as well as the formulation of the author's terminology. Thus, the article is a comprehensive research work that contributes to a deeper understanding of competition as a multifaceted and dynamic phenomenon.
