Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
This article is a study devoted to a comparative assessment of the development of consumer markets in two regions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Irkutsk region. Both territories are large regional centers and act as significant trading platforms in the Siberian region, each with its own characteristics and specifics, which makes them important players in the consumer market in Russia. A comparative assessment of the development of consumer markets in the regions plays a key role in understanding the peculiarities of the development of different regions and the level of consumption. Such an assessment makes it possible to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each region and identify trends in the development of consumer markets. Comparative assessment helps to identify successful practices in managing regional markets that can be applied in other regions. One of the main reasons for the need for a comparative assessment of consumer markets is that each region has its own unique features and specifics that can significantly affect its development. For example, differences in economic development, infrastructure, demography, resource availability, and other factors can lead to differences in demand, supply, and pricing of goods and services. An integral approach was used to comparatively assess the development of consumer markets. Within the framework of this approach, evaluation criteria are defined, and an author's method for calculating the coefficient of evaluation of the development of consumer markets is developed. This coefficient combines the indicators and criteria identified and analyzed by the authors during the study.
