Abstract (English):
Currently, catering service companies are among those business entities whose main activity is aimed at achieving a high level of food security in the Russian Federation, while it is socially oriented. One of the most important activities of enterprises operating in the field of public catering services is investment activity, that is, activities related to investing or attracting various investments in improving financial, economic, marketing, economic, informational, as well as other types of activities in order to obtain the maximum level profit and profitability. To conduct a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of the investment activities of enterprises in the public catering sector, an author's methodology was developed, which allows you to determine the influence of factors, both external and internal environment, on the effectiveness of the implementation of functions in the field of investment activities. Within the framework of this scientific article, the specific features of the main stages of the practical implementation of the methodology for assessing the effectiveness of managing the investment activities of public catering enterprises were determined, on the basis of which a selection of 6 business structures was made, a distinctive feature of which is the beginning of a fairly active investment activity in 2020.The study carried out within the framework of this scientific article made it possible to carry out a comparative assessment of the characteristics of the activities of entrepreneurial structures, depending on the criterion for the effectiveness of investment management, and, as a result, to identify problems that have a serious impact on the change in key indicators. As a result of the study, it was determined that the developed methodology for assessing the effectiveness of managing the investment activities of public catering enterprises is the best tool for studying the specifics of the activities of organizations and can be used in many domestic and foreign companies.
