DEVELOPMENT OF ENTREPRENEURIAL COMPETENCIES OF STUDENTS IN THE CONDITIONS OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract (English):
The article examines how the digital transformation of higher education affects the development of entrepreneurial activity. For this purpose, both scientific literature on the research topic and the experience of developing entrepreneurial competencies of students at the Institute of Radio Engineering Systems and Control of the Southern Federal University in Taganrog (IRESC SFedU) were analyzed. The purpose of the research is to study the formation of entrepreneurial competencies of university students in the context of digital transformation of higher education. The relevance is determined by the importance of entrepreneurship for modern society, which needs citizens who are actively developing business projects and solving social problems, thereby contributing to the development of the economy and society as a whole. The author examines the concepts of “digitalization”, “digital economy”, “digital transformation of education”, “entrepreneurial competencies”. Also he identifies core entrepreneurial competencies. Higher education is considered both as one of the market services and as a factor influencing the economy as a whole. The necessity of creativity for entrepreneurial activity is shown. The role of the university in introducing methods for developing students' entrepreneurial competencies is considered. Using the example of the IRESC SFedU, author analyzes how the following entrepreneurial competencies are practically implemented in the educational process in students: digital literacy, design thinking, interdisciplinarity, creative thinking, practical entrepreneurial skills. Discussion issues identified during the study: the dangers of digital transformation of education; the inconsistency of viewing education as a service; versatility of the complex of entrepreneurial competencies formed among university students. The author sees prospects in developing support for young entrepreneurs from the state and the private sector, which will help create favorable conditions for the growth and development of innovative entrepreneurship in Russia.
