GASTRONOMIC TOUR AS A COMPONENT OF THE HOTEL INDUSTRY

Abstract (English):
The article examines the impact of the development of gastronomic tours on the hospitality industry. In modern times, gastronomic tourism is one of the competitive directions for the development of domestic and inbound tourism. Tourism is a dynamically developing industry, new types and directions appear every year, which includes gastronomic tours. A gastronomic tour is a means of learning the culture and traditions of peoples through the art of cooking and eating food, therefore it is subject to a careful approach to its compilation. There are a number of directions of gastronomic tours: tours in rural areas, restaurant, educational, event, combined and environmental, where each of the directions has its own specifics. The analysis of the directions of gastronomic tours existing in the region, the program of which includes accommodation in hotels, is carried out, alternative accommodation options for tourists are proposed. As a result of the work, the possibilities of developing a gastronomic tour in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which will be a catalyst for the socio-economic development of the region, were considered.
