The article discusses the problem of training personnel for the field of quality expertise and food security in accordance with the current priorities of the state and the needs of control and supervisory bodies. The purpose of the study is to justify the need to create an educational platform that combines the resources of higher education institutions, state control bodies, and potential employers to ensure food security in the region. The study is based on a systematic approach, comparative analysis of statistical data, and the legal framework. The article identifies the disproportionate relationship between the demand for qualified professionals in the labor market and the number of professionals trained by professional education institutions. The article shows the structural contradictions between the old and new classifications of training areas, which do not take into account the basic differences between the economic group and commodity science, which requires an emphasis on the natural sciences and laboratory research. As a solution, the article proposes a model of a cluster educational platform that includes early career guidance, modernization of the laboratory base, and interaction with regulatory authorities. Implementing this model will improve the quality of training specialists and strengthen the human resources for food security in the region.
