PROBLEMS OF USING POLYMERIC MATERIALS FOR TRANSPORT PACKAGES
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article discusses the problem of using polymeric materials to form transport cargo packages, which is a necessary stage in the logistics system. This technology is used when shipping goods from manufacturers and in distribution centers of large retail enterprises. Paper shows that the main method of fastening packages on a pallet using stretch film leads to large expenditures of material resources and increases the volume of waste of trade enterprises. The research of various samples of polyethylene film used to fasten a transport package was conducted. The results of comparative studies of the properties of primary and secondary stretch film during experimental operation during cargo transportation are discussed. The results of comparative studies of the properties of primary and secondary stretch film during experimental operation during cargo transportation are being discussed.
