Abstract (English):
The article considers aspects of the priority importance of educational services of higher education in the development of the state. The definition of the category “educational services” is specified, based on the analysis of approaches available in the Russian scientific literature. Generalized groups of indicators are systematized, such as: social, economic, organizational and technical, including those related to the processes of digitalization, academic and qualitative, which make it possible to evaluate educational services in the field of higher education. The results of the author's retrospective analysis of the dynamics of absolute and relative indicators of the main generalized groups are presented, based on which an assessment of the current state of higher education is given and trends in the development of educational services in the field of higher education in the Russian Federation are identified.
