Digitalization of the economy is the process of introducing digital and information and communication technologies (ICT) into all spheres of economic activity. In the modern world, the digitalization of the economy is becoming one of the key factors affecting the competitiveness of enterprises in all fields of activity. For the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), striving for sustainable socio-economic development, the introduction of digital technologies into the financial and economic activities of enterprises is of particular relevance. Digitalization penetrates into all aspects of our lives, simplifies and accelerates processes, makes information more accessible and provides new opportunities for development. Digitalization continues to evolve. Its influence will only increase, so it is important to realize and use the opportunities that it provides. Digitalization of the economy is a complex process that requires coordinated efforts on the part of the state, business and society. Digitalization is one of the most important areas of development of the Donetsk People's Republic. The introduction of digital technologies at the enterprises of the DPR will increase their efficiency, competitiveness and enter new markets. Government support and the creation of a favorable business environment will contribute to the accelerated development of the digital economy of the DPR. In general, digitalization is an important factor in the successful development of enterprises in the Donetsk People's Republic. Enterprises that can adapt to new realities and integrate innovative technologies into their processes will be able to achieve advantages over competitors and ensure their financial and economic development. The introduction of digital technologies is the key to the successful future of the DPR. The article analyzes the application of digital technologies in the financial and economic sphere of enterprises of the Donetsk People's Republic.
