В условиях современных вызовов, связанных с необходимостью обеспечения технологического суверенитета и импортозамещения, изучение производственно-технологических систем приобретает особую актуальность. В настоящее время промышленность России нуждается в укреплении цепей поставок, на основе прочных вертикальных и горизонтальных связей, что требует глубокого теоретического осмысления. В статье раскрываются теоретические и методологические подходы к исследованию сложных структур в промышленности с вертикальными и горизонтальными связями. Показаны этапы развития экономической мысли: от неоклассики до методологии межотраслевого подхода. Выделены достоинства и недостатки ключевых концепций. В качестве инструментария для исследования цепей поставок сложной конфигурации предложен методологический подход межотраслевого баланса, в основе которого лежит матричное моделирование. Данный подход открывает большие возможности и позволяет комплексно рассматривать структуру цепи, состоящую из разного количества уровней и звеньев, связанных между собой различными способами координации.

In the context of modern challenges related to the need to ensure technological sovereignty and import substitution, the study of production and technological systems is becoming particularly relevant. Currently, the Russian industry needs to strengthen supply chains based on vertical and horizontal links, which requires in-depth theoretical understanding and adequate analysis tools. The article reveals theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of complex structures in industry with vertical and horizontal connections. The stages of the development of economic thought are shown: from neoclassicism to the methodology of the intersectoral approach. The advantages and disadvantages of key concepts are highlighted. The methodological approach of cross-industry balance based on matrix modeling is proposed as the most suitable tool for studying supply chains of complex configuration. This approach opens up great opportunities and allows us to comprehensively consider the structure of a chain consisting of a different number of levels and links interconnected by various methods of coordination.
